And the Rain Continues...

It is no surprise to anyone how much I love rainy days and today is no exception. It has been quite some time since NYC has had a good rain that I had to come and bring my laptop next to the window to make sure I enjoyed it that much more.

There is a cool breeze blowing in through the window and the smell of the rain permeates every last corner of every room. Umbrellas pass by on the streets below me and those that have forgotten their protective inventions, run hurriedly from their cars to the front door.

The rain, although never stops movement altogether, has a beautiful way of slowing things down, even in the busiest of cities such as this one. I'm sure there are many out there, sitting in their homes, frustrated over the change of plans that the rain evidently caused, but I also know that, like me, their must be many enjoying this afternoon with as much delight as I.

And with that, I say to you that I hope you are, wherever you may be, whether in sunshine or a delightful rainstorm such as this, having a wonderful Sunday.

Only one goal remains for this day: To not worry about the upcoming week. I'll let you know how that turns out.
