Finding the bridge to the next challenge...
It's easy to get discouraged, let's be honest. Just when you think you're over one hill, the crest of a mountain comes into view. Grumbling under your breath is an exhaustive, "are you kidding me!?
I like to hear people's stories. Especially those that have conquered and gone through a lot in life. There seems to be a common thread that unites these types of people. Interstingly enough, it's usually in how they handle the tough climbs up their personal mountains.
No matter how many time life proves otherwise, we always act surprised that things are a struggle. It's like deep down we can't fully accept that life isn't meant to be easy. Then of course we say, "it is easy, but we complicate it." All that adds is a sense of folish guilt to the equation so I am going to stay away from that one! lol
So I'm saying all of this to remind you that anything worthy in this life is going to require effort on your part and it's more than worth it. A healthy body requires good eating and exercise. Good relationships require time invested, sacrifice and selfless love. Achieving goals requires time management, patience and constitancy.
We don't watch documentaries about mountain climbers that climb a small hill. We watch climbers that conquer Mount Everest and the like. What's worthy about your climb?
Don't stop because it's hard, keep going because it means you're close to a good thing. Things that come easy are usually fluff so don't use that as a guide.
Here's to a difficult day and crossing to that next mountain
