Thank You!

In case you skipped over the title of this post, I will repeat it with gratitude and a hefty amount of enthusiasm: Thank You for all your beautiful words, warm birthday wishes and cool vibes.

I will take this opportunity to reiterate what has been said a thousand times, yet needs to be mentioned at least a thousand more. The warmth and power that a simple gesture holds knows no limits and needs to be at the top of any list you may have this year. In a world of constant communication but very little undivided attention, showing someone an action that speaks the words, “I am thinking about you” goes a long way.

And so it is with great joy that I thank you again for not only taking the time to wish me a happy birthday but also for participating in the wonderful humanity that we all share, as we cross each others’ paths, if even for an instant. We all carry inside out hearts and minds moments that may have lasted but for the blink of an eye, yet changed us for the rest of our days. Don’t forget that you have changed someones life irrevocably in the best of ways as you have mine.

much love for this day and the beginning of your new year

Sleep is not for nightowls...

I can't argue that a good night's sleep leads to a better day, more relaxed mental state and overall better functioning but boy oh boy do I love staying up late.

Not to worry, I am on partial vacation from my work and the crack of dawn is not awaiting tomorrow. I'm not sure what it is about the summer and staying up late, but it feels as though the night holds in it a magic that evades the daytime.

I have had some of my best song ideas at night and creativity seems to flow unabashedly and unrestrained for as long as your eyes can stay open. I hear crickets, feel the chilled midnight breeze and feel the privilege of being alive deep inside. It's easy to get weighed down by what life hasn't turned out like in your mind, disappointments and the chaos that is this world, but there is a hidden beauty that screams out at us if we tune into that frequency.

What frequency are tuned into?

So whether the night is when you feel most alive or early in the morning, be sure to listen for what matters.

much night owl love

Music Update: I have developed a new music teaching website that I can't wait for all of you to be a part of. If you know of anyone that wants to learn an instrument, feel free to share at TheMusicWorkshop.com
You could also join me on my Facebook Page

Learn your favorite instrument with me...

The moment has finally come!

As many of you know, I love to teach music. From kids to adults, the joy I feel when I get to share the love of creating music and learning an instrument is indescribable. For years, I have been developing the idea of developing a website so that I can teach music beyond my geographical location of NYC.

Piece by piece it's all coming together and I happy to announce that TheMusicWorkshop.com is born and just about ready to go! Visit us at TheMusicWorkshop.com and click around to see what it's all about.

And please, oh pretty please feel free to write me at adrianedward1@gmail.com to tell me what you think and more importantly what you would like to see. I want to make it a place where you can learn just about everything musical, from playing guitar to learning your favorite song on the radio.

I want to thank everyone that's been so supportive and as always, reminding me that music is a beautiful thing to share.

with much love
~Adrian
