Sunday afternoon is already a beautiful time of the week. Throw in the perfect brisk breeze, thick white clouds and sunshine then it becomes and even more amazing Sunday.
It's been a quiet morning here so far and there is absolutely nothing to complain about. The mood is tranquil and it's almost as if you can feel everyone taking it easy this Holiday weekend. The wedding yesterday was beautiful and I couldn't be happier for my two good friends Paulie and Vanessa who allowed me to be a part of their special day.
I've shared this particular piano piece with all of you before but I've been listening to it all morning and I figured, ahh who cares, let's listen to it again. It's from the soundtrack to the motion picture The Piano and it's a wonderful piece that deserves to be enjoyed, especially on a day like today.

I don't know what it is about Sundays but they have a wonderful feel to them. The clouds blanket the sky on NYC today with the promise of rain and the hope of a charming day that awaits.

Sunday morning. Once again. The sun is coming in through every window, with it's streaks of warmth, highways of light pouring over anything that might be in it's way. Leaving no permanent mark, yet making a beautiful intrusion that is always desired and strangely missed though we know that we will see it and feel it again. As I sit writing this, I feel that warmth and begin a new day that can be the day that will forever change my life as I know it.
Will this be the day?
In the meantime, while I wait, I share with you a beautiful piece of music from the movie Amelie. I have shared other music from this movie and thought it was well worth it to share this one. It is called La Valse D'Amelie and I really think you'll like it. There's a full orchestrated version of it online as well but I am sharing the piano version today.
Hope you like it and I am off to get some stuff done, write some music and write some chapters in the book. I can't wait to finish it.
